Grant Peeples

Grant Peeples

 May 11th @ 7:00pm

‘Bold’, ‘Brutally Honest’, ‘In Your Face’ - these are common remarks about Grant's music. Of course they are often accompanied by terms like ‘Beautiful’, ‘Conviction’, ‘Literate’, and ‘Depth’. Grant spent 11 years on a tiny island off the coast of Nicaragua. He returned in 2006 to a very different homeland. Much of his songwriting is a response to what he found when he returned. He has played at major festivals and venues across the country, and his albums have topped the Folk/Roots charts in both the U.S. and Europe. His stage persona is witty and humorous, but when he starts to perform you know he means business. This will be the most 'Real' live show you have seen in a long time - maybe ever.

'"Peeples is a guitar slinging poet" -  Music News Nashville

". . . smart, strong lyrics that mean something, and say it in a way that you haven’t heard before"  - Routes and Branches
